The Dreadful Curse of the Haunted Manor

Birendra was on his way to his ancestral home situated in a small village in India. The road leading to the village was surrounded by dense forests, and the visibility was almost zero due to the thick fog. The locals believed that the forest was cursed, and no one dared to venture into it alone - not even the bravest of souls. As Birendra approached his village, he noticed that something was not right. The village was eerily silent, and there were no lights on. He shrugged it off, assuming that the village must have fallen asleep early. He headed straight to his ancestral home, which was a majestic mansion built in traditional Indian style. His family had warned him not to take the route leading to the mansion after sunset, but it seemed like fate had decided to put him to the test. The mansion stood eerily in front of him as he approached it. The walls were covered in moss, and the windows were shattered. The door creaked open as he pushed it, revealing the ghastly interior. A faint sound of footsteps echoed through the hallways as Birendra tried to find a place to rest. He decided to explore the mansion to see if anyone was there. Suddenly, he heard someone calling out his name. "Birendra, my dear grandson, is that you?" said an old, raspy voice. Birendra could feel his heart pounding in his chest. "Yes, it's me, Grandma. I'm here to visit you," he replied. But there was no response. Birendra walked down the hallway, which led to the living room where he found his grandmother's photo hanging on the wall. Suddenly, he heard a sound of a table moving, and he turned to find that the table had moved on its own. Birendra could feel his blood beginning to freeze as he tried to calm himself. But then, he heard the sound of his grandmother's voice again, coming from upstairs. As he climbed the stairs, he noticed the entire mansion shaking. He had never experienced anything like that before. Finally, he reached the room where his grandmother used to sleep. He opened the door slowly, and to his horror, he found nothing but a pool of blood where the bed used to be. He started to panic and run down the stairs, where he saw her body lying on the ground, pale and lifeless. Suddenly, the door slammed shut, and Birendra found himself trapped inside the haunted mansion, all alone. He could hear the sound of a woman's voice coming from the room next to him. He approached the room and found a woman dressed in traditional Indian clothes, staring at him with black eyes, whispering something in Hindi. Birendra tried to move away, but he found himself glued to the spot. The woman started to laugh hysterically as the walls started to crack, and horror dawned on him that he may never get out of the haunted mansion alive.
